Oneplus Watch 2 SpO2 data

Hi,

I have the new oneplus Watch 2 that has SpO2 data… please configure it to be used with the app.

Thanks

Hi @spenhos, this wearable has Wear OS 4, so the watch is compatible. The SpO2 data depends - if they let the sensor open for reading by independent apps. If you use the Left ≡ menu → (?) Support → Report a bug (ideally after ~5 minutes of tracking with the watch), and send me your application logs, I will check whether the sensor is open.

It’s been almost a year but are there any updates on this topic?
I could send the bug report if it still makes sense…

Hi @vk_1999, the situation is still the same, if the sensor is available only for the system native apps, we won’t be allowed to read the data. This is different for every vendor.

For posterity: we’ve debugged and discussed this with @lenka-urbandroid for quite some time and here are the outcomes:

  • Unfortunately SAA doesn’t seem to have access to SpO2 sensor of OnePlus Watch 2.
  • SAA could load SpO2 data post factum from Health Connect (given correct read permissions) but currently it doesn’t work due to a problem between SAA and Health Connect.
