Hello. Do you know if OnePlus Watch 3 has the same issues issues as Watch 2 did with Sleep as Android?
This includes SPO2 sensor not being available and gaps in the data?
For posterity: we’ve debugged and discussed this with @lenka-urbandroid for quite some time and here are the outcomes:
Unfortunately SAA doesn’t seem to have access to SpO2 sensor of OnePlus Watch 2.
SAA could load SpO2 data post factum from Health Connect (given correct read permissions) but currently it doesn’t work due to a problem between SAA and Health Connect.
For posterity: the solution for OnePlus+ Watch 2 to get consistent sleep graphs with no gaps is to join the beta channel (How do I opt-in to Beta testing channel? - Sleep as Android ).
After doing so (the phone app version now is 20250218, watch – 5.27; thank you @lenka-urbandroid for guiding me through it providing general support) I get no more red bars of sleep graphs. And I didn’t notice a battery usage increase for the watch as well: it’s now around 1.5-2.0% of the battery per hour of sleep…
Thanks
V
Hello, 1+ watches do not allow reading SpO2 data to 3rd party apps. The sensor is only for the system app at the moment.
Only wearables with the ◌ icon in the supported wearables list allow us reading the SpO2 data.
The Wear OS platform had the API opened, so our addon is ready to read the data once the vendors lift the limitations.
