Zombie loophole - steps vs distance

Hey there,

I discovered that the 15m isn’t cleared by distance, but counts down when the phone “feels” footsteps. To cheat this, I’ve learned to bump my phone against my palm until the alarm shuts off.

Zombie walk used to be the most effective alarm for me until I discovered this loophole, so I was wondering - would it be possible to add in location tracking permissions so my phone knows for sure that I’ve gotten out of bed? Also, I think it might be helpful to add a customization of how far the walk needs to be in order to turn the alarm off.

HI @alaxne, for the Zombie CAPTCHA, the alarm uses the system step counter. We do not use GPS tracking for privacy reasons.

If you need to forced to get up for the alarm, use QR CAPTCHA (or NFC CATPCHA), and place the code/tag to another room. You can even teach the app more codes and enable “Scan all codes” to make the trip longer. Or you can combine QR task with other CAPTCHAs with the Multi or Random CAPTCHA from the free extension pack.
