YouTube Music Integration Possible?

The Spotify integration is nice but a lot of Android users are using YouTube music. Is an integration possible?

Great suggestion as I am in the same situation. That or Amazon music? Maybe something they are working on?

I am all for YouTube Music as well.
I think many users would appreciate that and Amazon music too

Sorry guys, YT Music does not have any API we could use for such integration…

Thanks Petr!

@Thomas_P_Conway BTW we had a hacky intent based integration for Play Music which was all reverse-engineered but unfortunately even this approach does not work with YT Music…

That’s a shame hopefully there will be an opportunity in the future to integrate it.

thanks for all your hard work and continuing to develop this app it’s really come a long way

Big thanks, I’m keeping eye on it…

Unfortunately, the core issue is that YouTube Music does not provide a public API that developers can use to create seamless integrations. While waiting for a potential future API release from Google, the only reliable workaround for users who want to use their YouTube Music library with other apps is to have the files stored locally on their device. If you need to use songs from YouTube Music in your app’s local playback features, you must convert and download them to standard audio formats (like MP3 or FLAC). I recommend looking into tools designed for this purpose, such as TunePat YouTube Music Converter. This type of software allows you to download music tracks, playlists, and albums from YouTube Music and save them as local files, which can then be played by any app on your Android device that supports local music playback.
