I have a Nest thermostat and was looking over what can work with Nest. What about making Sleep as Android work with Nest. It could track the temperature in the home while sleeping.

Another thought when you start the sleep app it could tell the Nest to set the temperature to a cooler sleeping temp. When you wake it can warm up the house.
