When using cheating protection and permission is given in accessibility settings alarm doesn't show up on lock screen

Hi
When I don’t have power-off cheating protection enabled, the alarm starts ringing and the alarm screen is displayed over the lock screen (i.e. when pressing the power button when the phone is locked, the fullscreen alarm will be displayed instead of the lock screen).
When power-off cheating protection is enabled and the accessibility setting is allowed, the alarm starts ringing and the alarm screen shows up only for a split second on the lock screen. After that, I need to unlock the phone to see the alarm screen. If I lock the phone again, I still only see the lock screen.
When only force stop and uninstall protection is enabled, this doesn’t happen (the alarm screen shows up on top of the lock screen).
I am running on Android 13 on a Fairphone 3, with all permissions enabled (draw over apps, device admin, etc).

Hello @guicale, this means that the alarm screen is fighting with some other component to be on the top. Which CAPTCHA as you using?

Hi. Thanks for the quick response.
I am using simple math captcha. However, when having this issue I can’t even get to the captcha. The screen that shows up for a split second before disappearing is the one with the dismiss and snooze buttons. As I said, without the accessibility option enabled, it works fine.

Hi, the protective screen is triggered, if the app detects, that another app is taking focus (which may mean you are trying to leave the alarm to avoid it). Are you using some alternative launcher for example?
If you use the Left ≡ menu → (?) Support → Report a bug, after reproducing this? I will check, what is stealing our focus.

Hi. I’ve sent the bug report via email following your instructions.
Also, I’m sharing screen recordings of the alarm going off both with and without power off protection, do better demonstrate the problem I’m describing. The black screens on the second video are the screen unlock pin input.

I confirm the exact issue on OnePlus 12 (Android 15) and the same workarounds as @guicale found. Thank you for workarounds buddy and hoping to see the fix in the app soon!

Hi, do you also use an alternative launcher? Could you please send the application logs? If the alarm screen is not allowed on the lock screen, it means the anti-cheating protection detected the alarm screen was left - it usually happens with an alternative launcher.

Hey, I’m using the stock launcher from OnePlus.

And could you please reproduce this and send the logs?
