If the tracking stops completely after few minutes, the background processes are restricted by your system.
I am having an intermittent problem with the tracking stopping on its own for no known reason.
My first alarm is 7am to take meds. I will stop the alarm, take meds and go back to sleep. The nexy alarm is at 9am to wake me up since my narcolepsy medicine should be set in enough to stay awake. However, sometimes the tracking stops between the alarms at weird times today it stopped at 8:43 and I saw that when I woke up from 9am alarm. Was a bad night, so I wanted to sleep a bit more. Had to start tracking again and the later add that missing in-between time.
This has happened about 5 times in the last 2 months, best guesstimation, and seems to happen for no reason that I can see. Almost all settings are the same as I have had for years. It is so intermittent that I am not sure it is a “bug”, but maybe user error somehow?
Suggestions??
Hi @ShoalBear, if the tracking stops out of the blue, the app is usually killed by the system “optimizations”. Please, visit https://dontkillmyapp.com/, and disable all these restrictions for Sleep app, and anything system-wide (like Adaptive battery).
If this won’t solve the issue, use the Left ≡ menu → (?) Support → Report a bug. Thank you.
