Total phone crash during sleep tracking

Detailed description of the problem:

While sleep tracking, phone will crash HARD after about 3 hours. Phone is completely non responsive, only fix is a hard reboot.

Has anyone seen this? Not sure how to debug this, all I can think of is leaving adb logcat running all night…

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start sleep tracking on a Pixel 3a XL.
  2. Wait 3 hours.
  3. ???
  4. Show up late to work because your alarm didn’t go off.
