Sound - Sleep as Android

Changes how your alarms sound.

Choose any music or sounds from a built-in nature sounds library, from your device storage or use online radios or streaming services such as Spotify for even more enjoyable mornings.

Why are only playlists available from Spotify. Can there be implementation of allowing audiobooks or podcasts?

Hi @Sleepstunner , Spotify API is very limiting, so it does not allow all features.
You can use locally sourced audiobooks and files and create playlists from them directly in the Sleep app - in Alarms > Sounds, switch to the Playlist tab and select the files from the list to create a playlist from them. It can be ordered or shuffled.

The fallback sound when no other file is found is a really quiet beeping, it can take me tens of minutes to wake up from it. Can it please be replaced with something more noticeable? It doesn’t even matter if it’s jarring/annoying, since it’s not supposed to occur often anyway.

Hi @Fabian42, the default sound for the backup alarm is forced full volume ringing (in the app, the sound is called “Sleepyheads”). It should not be quiet beeping.
What is your configuration in Settings > Alarms > Backup alarm > Sound?
If this sound does not suit you well, you can pick any sound file you have on the device.
