It seems the default behavior of the snooze screen is to display a white background at maximum brightness. There seems to be no way to change this in settings. With a Pixel 8 Pro, the screen maximum is 2,400 nits, which can cause permanent eye damage (and feels like a flash bang). any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @LT75, the app uses bright screen during the alarm if the feature Sunrise effect is enabled. The backlight is used to mimic sunrise effect of smartlight systems. You can disable this in the settings, in Gentle alarm section.
