hi l am using Withings Steel HR Sport smart watch, and it has many sensors. Do you awesome guys have any plan to support this watch?
Hello, do you mean:
a. Huawei GT 2? This one is not possible to integrate (no API)
b. Xiaomi/Huami GTR ? We support this one through Tools&MiBand
Thanks! I love the app on my phone and I was wondering if Im able to use it to my smartwatch that I recently bought. Its a good thing it can connect.
Withings only works with their own proprietary sleep system. So, no. Their watches have no apps. Very boring smartwatches, if you ask me. Apps are EVERYTHING. They only have their OWN apps for their OWN devices. They have released their scales to everyone, but that’s all. And it WILL tell you to “Go To Sleep” which I like. And it retieves step data. And that’s it.
But what if SaA could add some of the other Withings tracking devices, like the sleep mat on the bed? I know that’s probably next to impossible, or at least could trigger a lawsuit from Withings, so well, no.
Welcome!
Will this work with Fitbit Charge 4?
Does this app work with Fitbit Ionic?
Huawei band 5 -support?
Hi,
In the post only movobi tickwatch E and S are specified as supported. Does the app support the new tickwatch c2?
Thank you.
Hello, normally all Wear OS watches which do have Play Services on them - official Wear OS from Google are supported…
Hi. Is the Xiaomi Miband still the recommended wearable? Thanks
Doesn’t seem to work with the Fitbit Charge 4 (testing sensor doesn’t seem to connect).
Support would be very welcome, though I suppose it tracks sleep on its own anyway.
What’s the cheapest wearable with which Sleep as Android works - tracks sleeping? Does it only work with smart watches or does it work with fitness bands also?
Hi there,
I’m using a Fossil gen 5 (Carlyle) smartwatch and it cannot connect to the android app for some reason. I do have the app installed but my wearable doesn’t show up in the app on my phone.
When I try to open the app on the watch it immediately shuts down.
Anything I can do to fix this?
Cheers!
Hello Jeroen,
Our app used some deprecated APIs and in the latest Wear OS or Play Services update, Google has broken them so that the app started to crash. We have fixed the issue and rewritten the Wear OS app to use the new APIs.
This is now available in BETA 20200722 or newer with the Wear OS app - included in the phone app - version 3.3.
To get the BETA please first join our BETA Testers group at:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/sleep-as-an-droid
That you can opt-into the BETA at the following address:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.urbandroid.sleep
Or simply by visiting our Play Store listing and tapping Join BETA
After the BETA updates, you may need to wait some time for your Wear OS watch to update the app on the watch to 3.3. To speed it up, you can try to uninstall the app in the Play Store on your watch - the apps on the phone section. And then install it again.
Please let us know if everything works as expected - our direct email is supporturbandroid.org. Many thanks and sorry for the issues…
Can you add support for Huawei band 4?
+1 for Huawei Band 4 pro
Hi, unfortunately Huawei Bands do not have any API or at least nothing documented. For us is is not possible to integrate them… there are BT sniffing Geniuses like Zdenek Horak who is doing the Mi Band integration for us… so maybe guru’s like himself would be able to integrate the Huawei Bands but it is really a very difficult business… imagine spending several months looking at hex code to figure the integration out and Huawei releases a new firmware and your are done - you have to start over from scratch… we would need all the resource we are now putting into the app to just maintain a Huawei Band integration… no we can’t do it sorry…
Hi, just want to inform you (I guess you are aware of that) that if one is connecting to a wearable, the sonar or/and accelerator of the smartphone is deactivated. Would it be possible to still use it. E.g., right now I am trying the go2Sleep sensor which is really nice to have but as I don’t have movement tracking, the SAA cannot calculate any sleep phase and hence, it is not possible to use the smart clock.
The vendor of the device is not interested in a collaboration (unfortunately) and I don’t see any comparable smart device which is compatible.
Hmm, seems my Garmin fenix 6X Pro supports Oximeter readings throughout the night via the native sleep tracking function.
Sadly it appears to be missing from the SAA app
Can it be added?
Would it be possible to implement support for FitBit Inspire (the non-HR version)?
