I think that Wear smartwatch owners would be glad, like me, to monitor sleeping from their watches, with smartphone turned off (sleeping stored in watch, waiting phone starting in order to sync).
Considering that Wear 6 will permit to have 2 apps (one on the device, one on the watch), this implementation could be very useful! Looking on forums and blogs, in fact, I’ve found a lot of people looking for sleep tracking on the watch, with smartphone turned off. Consider that recharge a phone turned on, and with BT and Sleep on Android running, is bad for battery life… I tried to run sleep tracking without recharging and in Airplane mode… 30% of battery consumption! It’s a lot…
