As I understand it, once you expose a feature to SmartThings it can be used by any SmartThings device. This could accomplish many requested devices to integrate with SAA with relatively little effort. Things like differing brands of smartbulbs/dimmers and Amazon Echo. It could bring new features, like integrating smart thermostats or recording how long it took to fall asleep after the TV was turned off (by monitoring Logitech Harmony).
