Can we use RingConn 2 with the app? Will it sync it is this ring not supported . Thanks
Hi @Vako, this depends on the API. We need an access to the unprocessed data from the sensor in real time. If the wearable has open API for sensor data, we can integrate it, but if it is closed, or only has cloud API, or aggregated data access, it is not usable for our real-time analysis. I could not find any details about Ringconn API, do you have any information about it?
No idea, will have to ask them via customer service if there’s a way. Could you reach them as the apps developer and ask them if they can provide that? I think it has more chance of happening than me asking where I have no clue where to even start . cs@ringconn.com
Thanks
I have emailed them already, if I have any news, I will let you know.
Hi, this is the official reply…
I offered them a link to our open API, but this does not sound promising.
Thank you for your interest in our RingConn Smart Ring.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Our devices do not offer an open API for real-time sensor data.
Thank you for your interest and support in our product. We will continue to strive for outstanding user experience and deliver safe products.
Please feel free to message us if you have other questions.
Have a nice day!~

Yeah, dead end. So dumb like one is to steal anything, oh well. Thanks
They make it so difficult to do things, wish I knew how to reverse engineer stuff so I could gain access to that API stuff
Does the app support RingConn 2? Checking compatibility or trying a quick pairing test might help. Good luck!
Hi @johnfisher90, as explained on this thread, RingConn 2 sadly does not have open API, and their support does not plan on sharing it. Without the access to the sensor data, the integration is not possible.
Are there any rings that are compatible with SAA and read hrv? I know the 02ring is compatible but it doesn’t do hrv. Any ring that does it and is compatible? If not what’s the cheapest wristband that has hrv capabilities also?
Thanks
Hi, no rings with open API so far. The O2Ring uses BT sniffing to get the data (again, missing API for a proper integration). The Oura rings have only cloud API at the moment, but they were talking about adding access to the raw data in the future. So this is at least a bit promising.
What works then with SAA that’s CHEAP or cheapest and records all values including hrv?
Hi, I am not sure about the pricing. But the HRV is listed on our wearable list as symbol so you can check, which wearables would be an option for you. Maybe Polars?
