"rest alarm" feature request

I use Sleep tracking to track my REM and NREM sleep cycles, and it does an amazing job tracking it and I think it is very accurate, as well as the noise recordings. However, I am someone who has an extremely difficult time falling asleep, especially for naps.

Can you add a feature where you can set an ‘estimated’ wake up time based on ‘time rested’ ?
Basically, if I set an alarm for a 30 minute nap and I try to fall asleep. I won’t actually fall asleep or enter REM until 15-20 minutes in. Then I only get 10 minutes of sleep, and then the alarm rings.
Just the fact that I can’t fall asleep for the nap, makes me anxious because I know I’m wasting time and the alarm will ring any moment. That anxiety alone will drive away my sleep. It’s bad for naps.

So if sleep tracking is enabled, is there a way to set a nap timer for 30 minutes or 1 hours, etc… based on when the phone will DETECT that the user is actually asleep.

Here’s a practical example, I am tired and I need a 30 minute nap.
I set the alarm for ‘rest 30 minutes’ and I go to sleep. I’ll toss and turn for 20 minutes and then finally fall asleep, Sleep for Android detects this and starts the timer ONLY AFTER I have fallen asleep.
So then my nap actually ends up being a 50 minute nap because the 20 minutes I wasn’t asleep was subtracted.
So after I have rested 30 minutes for sure, it will then ring and wake me up.

Hi @Furqan_Mohammed,
we currently do not support dynamic alarms (the alarm, that would completely reschedule the alarm time based on the sleep progress).
You can configure your desired sleep goal for the nap alarm, pick “Power nap” or very long smart period for this alarm, and enable “Not before my sleep goal” (in Settings > Alarms > Smart alarm). This would increase your chance of reaching the desired sleep goal even when some awake periods are detected.
