I’ve been using Sleep As Android for many, many years with my good old Pebble smartwatch. It worked flawlessly: I could start tracking from watch, from phone, it always connected and stayed connected for entire night. In the morning I was able to snooze with one button or stop with the other. I was happy. Even in recent years when I had to install beta builds, extra add-ons and starting SAA from watch broke for good - it was still fine.
Now my Pebble is dead and I’m looking for something to replace it. Ignore all aspects other than SAA support and maybe the price: what works well and stable, is on-pair with Pebble on features (start/stop SAA from watch, snooze from watch) and don’t cost and arm and a leg?
I know where to find supported device list, seen it, but there are often some details:
I had some Garmin in the past for few weeks and SAA support was not really great. It worked but I had to manually start SAA on both watch and the phone and then hope it won’t disconnect during the night. Might be it’s all good now, back then it was not.
I had MiBand 3rd or 4th gen and it had some issues, don’t remember now what was that about.
So: can anyone truly recommend something?
