Yes! Great idea! I would like it to use my Pebble Time microphone instead of the phone microphone. I have very loud white noise throughout the room, but my watch is close to my face and would pick up my own sounds and then send them via Bluetooth with the rest of the data.

Another thing is working sonar introducing audible noise in recorded audio (and also interfering with snore detection) on some phone models due to the microphone location very close to the speaker.
My phone happens to have a stereo mic, and I’d like the app to use the top mic channel for sound recording and snore detection. That should be less affected by the sonar signal generated by the speaker (that’s near the bottom mic).
