Pavlok integration

Pavlok is a new wearable. It’s a fitbit that shocks you when you don’t do what you commit to. I’d love to be shocked if I don’t get my a$$ out of bed. I feel like I need it!

Here is Pavlok opening up their API: <http://buy.pavlok.com/blogs/news/115896643-pavlok-developer-api?inf_contact_key=445d1e3125add98f4e88eb0341c53fb1ab6ce99d661eb0d05b850c1e9a8411db>

Pavlok also tracks movement which would make Sleep as Android graghs more accurate.

Hmmm…Pavlok actually promised on their Kickstarter campaign that they will integrate with us if they reach XXX goal, which they thid. But they never integrated with us as far as I know. Might do some good to contact them (we already did, but got no response).

I know I’m reviving an old 2018 post here, but was there ever any movement on integration with Pavlok? I recently purchased one because I can’t keep sleeping through my alarms and it works for that. Also they just dropped a new version of their device recently.

Hi, I think this would be awesome, and actually if I remember their kickstarter, one of the stretch goals was integration with Sleep as Android. This stretch goal was reached, but they never contacted us about it so I don’t know what happened. I think (not sure though) that I tried to write to them at that time but got no response.

Oh, perhaps I should’ve looked over this thread first

Anyway, I don’t see the kind of API that we would need on their website. We need direct access to accelerometer data from the device, and they offer aggregated data that were previously uploaded to their servers from the device. That’s too low resolution for us, and also too late for us to be useful - we need almost realtime.
