I think most users who have chosen the option that the airplane mode is automatically turned on during sleep tracking intent that the airplane mode also automatically switch off again when you woke up.

What is the latest on this? Have a rooted phone with the Xposed plug in and while Airplane mode does turn on properly when Sleep mode begins, it does not turn off automatically on Wakeup. Seems like that is really what automatic means – both the on AND the off. Thank you.

I'm using Sleep on Android 4.3, I've got Xposed framework installed with "Jelly bean 4.x airplane mode helper" module. I've selected "Automatic" airplane mode setting in Sleep, when I enable sleep tracking, the airplane mode is activated. But when the alarm sounds and I turn it off, phone stays in airplane mode. Many times I forgot to turn Airplane mode off manually and miss a call or a message. It really should be an option to auto-activate and auto-deactivate airplane mode.

Can we revisit this topic now with Lollipop? If there is a permissions issue, can we borrow some ideas from Greenify and use the Accessibility permissions under Settings to allow Sleep for Android to enable/disable Airplane mode?
OR
For users that are rooted, can we again make this a viable option along with other options throughout the app for users with root access?

Meaning that, we need the beta release become official only we will have this feature?

After the alarm goes off it should turn off airplane mode. this should be an option for each alarm. Some days/times I just don't want to be disturbed while asleep/napping and other times I do.

But how many? Better would be to make both airplane off and airplane on a selectable versus automatic. I don't want airplane mode turned on.
