I have serious troubles finding Alarm tones in my MP3 collection. I got some audiobooks on my SDCard, so everytime i prepare an alarm i have to scroll through all the files, missing some ringtones and ruining my thumbs
When trying to use the Android filesystem-selector i get error messages telling me the selected file wasn’t “locale”. Yes, copying it to the internal storage helps, but it is still very unclear.
So a folder based selector would help, or some other kind of sorting.
Thanks for considering.

Would be good to also show the track that is playing.
I have literally over 10000 media files on my phone and the current sorting puts them in different places based on some metadata that I normally never see, on any device. So I have to check about 10 alphabetical lists, scrolling forever from one to the next, for every single track. And the tracks that I select are always from one folder with less than 1000 files in it anyway.
