As many users have already specified, the noise recording is rather inaccurate despite whatever sensitivity settings you choose, and you run the risk of missing out on some sounds.
I would propose that the app begins recording when a sound is heard as per normal, BUT it only saves the recording if the noise was continuous for x seconds specified by the user. This way, if it is sleep-talking, snoring or other sounds we will be able to filter them out far easier than catching those random sounds of movement.
