MiBand 9 keeps failing to record sleep

Hello,

I’ve already completed all the steps to connect the Miband 9 to SAA: I’ve obtained the key for Notify, uninstalled the original app, and disabled battery optimization. However, it only tracks sleep through the Notify app. From SAA, I start tracking and it says the watch is connected, but no data is recorded, only the duration. Sometimes, when I start tracking, a workout begins on the band and sometimes it doesn’t. When it does start, it stops shortly after and tells me I need to reconnect to Mi Fitness to get the route and the location.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi @GerardC, first of all, check, if there are no system ‘optimizations’ applied to Sleep, Notify, or Bluetooth (details at https://dontkillmyapp.com/). The optimizations can break the communication between the apps.
Then, check, if the real-time test sensor works in the Notify app.
Start a short sleep tracking from the Sleep app, and after 10-15 minutes, use the Left ≡ menu → (?) Support → Report a bug, and send the application logs.
