How long should I sleep

Would like the ability for the app to recommend how long I should sleep. I am just guessing I need 8:30 hours sleep a night.

Before puberty about 10:30 for most people after you need about 8 and once your brain is fully grown at about the age of 21 it should start to drop down to 4 over a bit of time.

It lets you set it, just Google the optimum sleep time, it isn't the same for everyone it comes down to how you feel in the morning.
But consistency is important. It shouldn't be recommending different lengths if sleeping each night. Unless you had very weird nights recently. Typically you want to find what feels good and stick to that as much as possible.

It already tells you in the advice section what your ideal duration should be

Play with the smart wake and duration time for that, by setting duration, and then setting smart wake not to wake you before duration. If you ard waking up before, regularly, reset the duration and try again. That is going to give you a much more personal answer than a suggestion from the app. Thats what I love about this app, you can set a baseline for several days, and then experiment with little things to see what actually is working best.
