Higher Goal wager options

Add more options for goal wagers.
For example, $20. That’s the amount that would make me take it more seriously.

Hi SAA!

I set up a goal and put a wager on it. That goal ended, so I want start it again, but I want to increase my wager amount. I can’t find a way to do that. I tapped $$ and it sent me to Google to pay, and the amount was already filled in. I tapped it and it went up slightly, but tapping a 3rd time did nothing. Is there anyway to enter a specific amount? Thanks!

I’m guessing that there’s no way to place a custom wager on a goal? So whatever $$$ comes out to is the highest I can get. Is this correct?

Hi @nanciewanda, at the moment, the wagers are set to prevent misconfigurations. What would be your ideal amount?

Oh, absolutely!

Will I be able to use that amount now, or can you override it or something? Or should I set it to the highest available currently?

Hi, I cannot override; this must be approved by the rest of the team and then added to the code directly. Start with the currently available choices and see how they work for you.

Any new change in the app is announced in the app on the main screen in the news card, so when these new values are available, it will be announced there.

Custom amounts would be useful, but a reasonable maximum and an extra confirmation step would make sense. Preset values are safer, although they may not provide the same motivation for everyone. Perhaps several additional tiers would offer a good compromise without making accidental wagers too easy.
