Garmin connect sleep data import

Doesn’t have to be read /write. But importing sleep data would be great.

I would like to see being able to have Garmin connect being able to import the data from sleep as android.

I really would like to do this. Garmin tracks my sleep without the need to have my phone in range. I can’t use the Garmin sleep as Android app, because my phone charges in another room.

Have you ever heard about https://www.fitnesssyncer.com/ ?
That’s a free pipeline that can sync data from one health service to another. We can import your sleep data from Google Fit and Samsung Health. Using Fitness Syncer, I believe you should be able to get data from Garmin cloud to one of the services we support, and then import them to Sleep as Android.

This may sound a little complicated, but once you set it up, the process will be completely automatic from then on.

They have a free API for Vivo-trackers, even with sleep data and HR monitoring
https://developer.garmin.com/health-api

This is quite interesting, didn’t hear about this Health API before. Unfortunately we cannot use it as it only once per day and after the user uploads their data from the device to the Garmin cloud.

Maybe I don’t understand the breadth of the use case entirely. Is the point of this feature request to just use Sleep as Android as a data analyzer, completely without smart alarm and tracking?
