Hi all, here is only one topic which seems like forgotten for a long while, so I decided to recreate a topic to discuss and reach a recent answer. I’ve been using sleep as Android for a really long time with my different smart band/watches. When I saw Galaxy ring, the first question in my mind was that if sleep as droid is integrated to ring. So I can leave my watch on my desk and let my ring follow my sleep and send signals to my phone and my watch can vibrate on the desk when I need to wake up.
So is there anyone with information if this integration is done or planned. Regards
Hi @SAVAS_OLTEKIN, we can only integrate devices with an open API - it is needed to allow apps access the data from the sensors.
So far, every ring on the market has closed API (so the users will stick with the native app). Do you have any information about the Samsung’s ring API? We would be quite happy to integrate the device, if it allows integrations…
I haven’t bought the ring yet. So I really dont have any specific information about api availability. But If I decide to buy, I will contact and ask for it “continuosly”.
Regards
OK
We will really gladly integrate the ring, if it is possible.
It is hard to tell, how Samsung will decide regarding public-facing API - some of their wearables allow integrations, but some have closed platform.
