I unfortunately found a new way to turn off the alarm without scanning my qr code. Turning the do not disturb mode into the “block all notifications” mode will also block the currently ringing alarm. As an android developer I think it should be easlily possible to turn off the DND mode when the alarm is ringing. This would avoid me turning the alarm silent when I have to get out of bed.
