Hello.
I have fitibit Versa 1 and on the Wearable tab when i click Test sensor it just stays on “Waiting for connectivity”.
What am i doing wrong? How can i make this work?
I also have another question, is it possible to use the smart wake function from my watch and at the same time have my mobile playing music? With this i mean that when my Versa smart wake activates my phone would playing the alarm clock.
Thanks!
Hi @neves2k,
is the companion app installed?
You will need to install the Fitbit app on your watch.
Once installed, go to Settings → Sleep tracking → Wearables → Wearable → and configure the Fitbit option.
Then start sleep tracking from your phone - this will open a commlink to the watch app. Now you can launch the Sleep app on the watch and it should connect and start tracking.
The alarm will take place on both devices, and you can configure, which one will start first. So you can either start with wearable vibrations, followed later on the phone with a ringtone, or vice versa
Usually, the wearable vibrations are gentle but very effective, so maybe you can configure the alarm ringtone only as a backup in case the vibrations won’t wake you up.
Hello,
What do you mean by companion app?
The link of Fitbit app you sent leads me to a page saying " Sorry, that page is unavailable or does not exist."
I assume you are asking me to install the “Sleep” app on my device, i was researching and found out about this… but from what i can see the “sleep” app was removed from fitbit apps.
So i don’t know how to fix this.
Hi, it looks like FitBit store is having some major technical issues. Most of the apps are missing (including ours). Please, try again later, hope they will patch it soon.
The app was for sure not removed from FitBit apps.
Hello.
I was very lucky to send this link to the right person, person who lives in United States of Arab and for him the link works! I installed a VPN and i was able to download the app Sleep!
The watch connected when i tried to start sleep tracking but it doesn’t work when i try to test the sensors on the Wearables tab. Is this normal?
Thanks!
HI, the Test sensor feature does not work for FitBits, the platform does not support it.
To test the connection, start sleep tracking from your phone and wait until it opens a commlink to the watch app. Then, launch the Sleep app on the watch, and it should connect and start tracking.
Hi.
Thanks for letting me know, it actually worked but took me some tries to connect.
I have another questions, is it possible to change the vibration of my watch? It’s totally different when using SleepAndroid instead of the normal clock. It used to be a bzzzzzz bzzzzzz and now it’s just bz bz bz bz.
Also, when I use sleepAndroid should I turn off my clock alarm or can I use both at the same time?
I also tried it today and I think the smart wake didn’t worked. Since I installed it yesterday it will only work today? Is this the every second day thing you guys talk about?
