I miss a feature where the app detects when you fall asleep. For myself it takes a long time to fall asleep (between 1-2 h) and I’d really like the app to tell me how long I slept and not only how long I was tracking my sleep.

When your recorded heart rate suddenly plunges, I read that to indicate exactly when I fell asleep.

Awake detection does not work very well. I wake up often during the night or be awake in the mornings before I get out of bed, but the app tells me I am asleep if I don't turn it off immediately. I also would love to know the time I actually slept.

You can delete as you wish. But you cannot add. It would be great to be able to add!
I know, I know. I sound like a broken record.

I agree with your idea. Now that Sleep As Android has integration with Mi Band, they could work out this feature as they do. Mi Band doesn't ask you if you are going to bed, it recognizes you fell asleep automatically.

Or the possibility to change the start time of the sleep afterwards.
