Right now dream journal only works for alarms. I would like to write in the journal when I stop the sleep cycle, ie when I wake up. Also I would love to access the journal from the left menu. I don’t see how to access it…

It will allow you to tag #gooddream or #baddream from the tagging suggestions upon awakening. You can also create custom tags for dreams, but not descriptions. I have used this, but if I really want to go into detail, I save that sort of detailed material for my Sleepmeter app. I don't think one app can do everything equally, and the truckload of data you can put into Sleepmeter is pretty staggering. It will also import Sleep Bot data, but I don't like Sleep Bot. I like Sleep As Android, and so far, it doesn't import S.A.A.
I don't use the alarm feature in S.A.A., so I have never seen it's dream diary.
