Do not disturb behaviour

Just curious how the do not disturb behaviour work within Sleep as Android. Only reason is I use specific rules, for example, let the phone ring if the number is in my contacts or favorites. But when I use the do not disturb function in Sleep as Android I believe it overwrites the do not disturb setting of Android OS. Is there a way to have Sleep as Android just enable do not disturb, and not change any specific settings?

I had this problem too and couldn’t find a way to fix in the app. So I turned off Sleep’s DND completely and just use my phone’s settings. Maybe that will work for you.
