Hello!
The primary reason why Sleep as Android appealed to me was its smart wakeup functionality. Waking up in the midst of my deep sleep absolutely destroys my day, and I’ve been looking for something that would let me wake up, when my body is best prepared for it.
However, using just my Samsung Galaxy phone for tracking sleep phases and, thus, spotting the best wakeup time completely failed, and now I am looking for the wearable device best-suited for this particular function. I see that your overall current best pick is TicWatch 5 PRO, because it supports both HRV and SpO2.
My question is: how crucial are those sensors for the app to determine the best smart wakeup time? If I really want to be woken up during my lightest sleep every time, do I necessarily need a device with HRV and SpO2 support? I am torn between going for Xiaomi Watch 2 with Wear OS (which, ostensibly, only tracks movement and HR) that is widely available here or still looking for TicWatch 5 PRO, which is much-much harder to find in this region of the world.
Thank you in advance!
