Change alarms during sleep tracking

It used to be possible to activate sleep tracking and then click the alarm time to quickly change its settings. Now that it support different overall alarm schedules, it’s no longer possible to quickly change to a one-time nap or activate another schedule. Instead you’re stuck on the edit window even when it’s on a schedule that won’t be relevant for another few days.

I have a button that immediately starts sleep tracking as I’ve done for over a decade now, but I feel that no matter which way you enter the app now, changing alarms is more of a hassle than it needs to be.

Also hoping there’s progress on the Google Home integration, it’s sorely missed!

Hi @Matuno,
from the tracking screen, you can either change the nearest alarm (by tapping on the alarm time on the list), or add a new alarm if there is none (by tapping on “No alarm” on the list).
Changing the nearest alarm opens the alarm settings, where you can change the alarm time, or switch the alarm to nap on the time picker.
Adding a new alarm opens the time picker, where you can choose the alarm time or switch the alarm to the Nap.
Would it be possible to share a screen video on how it behaves on your device with support@urbandroid.org? Ideally, when you open the alarm from the tracking screen and it opens the alarm, that won’t be relevant for a few days. If there is no alarm for a few days, you should see “no alarm” button, opening the time picker, not alarm in the future.

If you are using the Dashboard as your Home screen, you can add a new alarm with the (+) button, or edit the next alarm from the alarm card (if there is no next alarm, it opens a list of alarms).
The list of alarms on the Dashboard is available from the Left menu > Alarms.

If you are using the Tab home screen, the alarms are listed on the alarm tab.

Alternatively, you can use the Widgets to open alarms, create alarms, or start tracking with a nap alarm / alarm to reach your set goal.
What configuration would workbetter for you and would be less hassle?

Google Home support was added in January 2025 (Settings > Services > Google Home), but Google Home is still BETA and only allows 100 users per app. We have been waiting for Google to lift the limitation for more than a year, so we hope it will be available soon.
