Can You Play Spotify on Multiple Devices at the Same Time?

Can anyone play Spotify on multiple devices at the same time? I want to play music on my phone for myself, play music on MP3 for my mom. I didn’t buy the family plan cause I don’t use it very often.
Someone told me I can download Spotify to my devices so I tried it. It really works! I just use AudFree Spotify Downloader to export my needed songs.

With a regular Spotify account, you can only play music on one device at a time. If you start playing on your phone, it’ll automatically pause on any other device. That’s Spotify’s policy for standard accounts. They only allow one active stream at once. Family or Duo plans are the official way to get multiple simultaneous streams.

Since you don’t use it often enough to justify a Family plan, here’s a clever workaround: use a Spotify to MP3 converter to download any Spotify song or playlist as a regular MP3 file. Once you have the actual MP3 files, you can copy them onto your phone, your mom’s MP3 player, or any other device, and play them all at the same time, anywhere, with no subscription needed at all.
