when using a spotify album/Playlist as alarm tone, make sure the spotify connect device is the phone (or a user set device) and not some other device

Happened to me more than once that I woke up the entire house with music blasting from our living room speakers (via Amazon echo) instead of my phone. Being able to select the playback device would be awesome (if at all possible through intents)
There are many methods available to use Spotify as alarm on phones.
On Android, you can make use of Google Clock App or SpotOn to do that.
On iPhone, you need to draw support from the Alarm Clock for Spotify app.
Alternatively, use a Spotify music downloader to download Spotify tracks to local files, so that you can set Spotify as an alarm tone on any device without premium. This can be regarded to be a one-time solution.
I would love to convert Spotify to MP3 then set the MP3 files to my alarm tone on the phone. It is simple to update my phone alarm with the help of the Spotify song downloader.
