Settings->Sleep tracking->“Silent mode when tracking” is a very appreciated feature. But I would like calls to still ring even when all other notifications are disabled.
I just want people to be able to reach me when it is really important.

I don't want to install other software just for this feature.
If possible I just want a whitelist of up to 5 people / numbers that can call me, no matter what the status of the alarm.

Isn't it easier for the sleep App to achieve that with the new notification mode of Android L?
Maybe a switch or a config where you can say the mode should be 'only important' and not 'nothing'.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

+Robert there are planty of call blockers on the Play Store, I did not try them out, but wouldn't this address the issue. Also in Lollipop the app cannot set you to silent mode any more, so we use a priority mode - vibration, which may also work well for this use-case I guess? Thank you

I agree with this suggestion. The only thing I do not like about this app is that in the event of an emergency it makes me practically unreachable. It would be GREAT if there were a whitelist for certain calls to ring through.
