Alarm goes off again after dismiss - Sleep as Android

If your alarms go off again several minutes after you has just dismissed them, check, if the Wake-up check feature is not enabled in Settings → Alarms → CAPTCHA → Wake-up check or in per-alarm settings → CAPTCHA → Wake-up check.

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://sleep.urbandroid.org/docs/faqs/wake-up_check.html

Hi,

I use the QR code scanner to make sure I’m awake.

I don’t like that the wake up check is always on. My wakeup ”quest” ends with the QR but your default forces me to also watch for the wake up check notification.

I think that the wake up check needs an option to be fully disabled.

Hi @dion.aelen,
The Wake-up check feature was added based on users’ requests. It is optional and off by default. It can also be fully disabled in case you enabled it, but it does not fit your mornings.

If you enabled it in the alarm general settings, go to Settings > Alarms > CAPTCHA > Wake up check, and switch the Wake up check toggle to the inactive position.

If you enabled this feature for some specific alarms, open the per-alarm settings > Wake up check, and set it to disabled.

Thanks Lenka for the explanation. I’ll try again with these settings.
