Ideally, although it’s presently simple to click ‘Sun’, and then, doing that at night, specify the preferences for the screen dimming/shading effect when the sun is not out, I’m going to propose the following, which dawned on me, would significantly improve the app:
Instead of the prominent ‘Always’ ‘Sun’ ‘Alarm’ ‘Custom’ choices,
Use ‘Nighttime’ (or Sunset) ‘Daytime’ (or Sunrise) and ‘Other’ (which can lead to opening a menu for alarm and custom).
‘Sun’, as presently implemented, actually means Sunset->Sunrise, which is nightime; not ‘Sun’, not day. ‘The absence of sun’. ‘Action to take at sunset’.
Simplify and clarify this to be ‘Sunrise’ (or Daytime) in place of Always, and Sunset (or Nighttime) in place of Sun.
