I would add more options to Text to speech, or improve the feature with complete sentence.
The app could use phrases or something like Hello, %todaysweather. Good morning %name, its %currenttime (for example Hello Name! Its something o clock on december the first. Good morning. The weather today is cloudy with temperatures up to 2 degrees.)
At best it would be customizable what the text is and it could even read out stuff like news or whats on you calendar…
