More complex lullabys

From Matyas Ondruska on 2015/04/26 21:09:44 +0000

Some lullabys are scary to listen (chanting monks,whale etc…) to and some are just too short ( piano, cat purr, lava lake) these latter would be my favourites but they are so short that instead of falling asleep I get annoyed listening to the same 5 sec music over and over again.

@Daniel

  1. app size limit is not the problem, but people prefer small APKs, this is very important to a group of users

  2. This would require hosting a back-end service for quite big data - this would introduce significant monthly costs, you know that our concept is a one-time purchase for a lifetime…

App size limite has been recently doubled to 100 MB

Also you can download the lullaby after install to overcome any size issue

This could be improved with limited the limited space requirement be randomizing a set of sounds that can flow into each other of work well with pauses in between. This is similar to how ambience in games works.

+Thomas… you can use any music on your device as lullaby played with your favorite player and sleep as android will take care to turn down the volume as you fall asleep just enable "Turn off when sleeping" in settings>lullaby…

Actually that might be a good idea. The song flute is really weird.
