Add a way to trim the sound files, so I can only save the interesting portion of the sound.
There are often other noises mixed in a longer sound file, and I specifically only talk for a few seconds - it would be helpful to isolate just that one section where I am talking, and allow me to save only this part.

An alternative option to the above:
I have a workflow that does this already outside of Sleep as Android and it works well and fast.
(1) Mark any of the Sleep Recordings with a star so they are saved to the Sleep Folder (for Favorites). This can be moved in the settings to a place of convenience on the phone.
(2) Open a program like this: MP3 Cutter and Ringtone Maker - Apps on Google Play and select that Favorites folder and trim them to your liking. Trimming can be done between two points within or outside of two points without. Those files will then be located in the folder where the app designates them and you’ll have them all marked, dated, time stamped, and ready to go.
(3) Place those in whatever backup workflow you have and then you’ll have them all.
I have done this literally thousands of times and it works very well. The additional time spent to do it is perhaps 10-15s per saved/favorited recording. For me, that’s like 2-3 minutes per day, if that.
