Pause for Insomniacs

I would like a pause button that uses the sensors on my phone to restart sleep tracking as soon as I go back to sleep. As a Chronic Insmoniac I find myself constantly forgetting to pause or restart Sleep as Android when I wake up in the middle of the night and grab my phone for some light reading.

How is your smartphone to know whether you are sleeping or not? Do you mean light sensor?

Maybe the angle of the phone?

Also, people move constantly, it should be possible to discern between holding a phone vs having it on the mattress.
